Their empire was originally built on slavery, and even though their race has been displaced from their homeworld and is going through a Battlestar Galactica phase at the moment, their tech tree reveals that slavery is still standard practice, at least among the Loyalists. The Vasari are probably somewhere in the middle.
When the factions split in the Rebellion era, the Loyalists most likely stayed true to these ideals, favoring isolation as opposed to their highly xenophobic and genocidal Rebel counterparts. While the Trade Order was incredibly intolerant of the transhumanist practices of the Advent's ancestors, the 'Narrator' (a member of the TEC military) in the beta trailer refers to the Trade Order's actions as 'sins', recognizing that what the Order did was wrong.
Overall, the TEC is probably the least-awful of all the factions.
I'd argue that all of the factions are various shades of grey in terms of morals.
